The Origins of the War can be traced back to the Clone Wars with the political group Delegation 2000 who in which most of the senator members would become the leaders of the Rebel Alliance as that they were opposed to Chancellor Palpatine. The two conflicting factions were the Rebel Alliance, who wanted to restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire, which was the resulting successor state due to Darth Sidious. The Galactic Civil War was the1st of tow wars and took place in 43ABY.
